Round head rolling nails stainless steel A2 - 2.3-2.5 x 38 mm - Roll 200 pieces
Wovar's Round Head rolling nails feature a 5.6 mm thick round head and are 38 mm long. These rolling nails, also called ring nails or facade nails, possess a ringed pin in addition to a broad head. The advantage of this ring shank is that it lets the nails sit up to 5 times more firmly in the wood than an ordinary smooth nail. With the rolling nails from Wovar, you are therefore assured of a very reliable fastening!
These stainless steel nails on roll are often used for securing cladding with an air or drum tacker. These include Red Cedar wood, Siberian Larch, Thermally Modified Ayous and Fraké. The roll angle of 15 degrees makes these ring nails only suitable for tackers with a 15-degree magazine.
Choosing the right size ring nail
Before you start working, it is very important that you choose the right size of blind rivet. We at Wovar have created a useful formula for this. Always ensure that the length of the nail you are going to use is at least 2.5 times the length of the thickness of the material to be secured. For example: you are going to work with a gunwale board 16 mm thick. You will therefore need a ring nail at least 16 x 2.5 = 40 mm. Still not quite sure? Then you can always contact our customer service department for appropriate advice!
