The dimensions of this shelf support are 200 x 200 x 13 mm (HxDxW). This makes the shelf bracket suitable for shelves up to 21 cm wide. The carrying capacity of this shelf bracket is 30 kg per 2 pieces. Also, this shelf bracket is supplied without mounting material. However, these are easy to order with us.

Our advice is to use our black chipboard screws 4 x 40 mm.  If your wall is made of stone or concrete, you will also need 6 x 30 mm nylon plugs for firm anchoring. In most cases, you can mount the shelf with our black chipboard screws 3.5 x 16 mm.

Attaching White Vintage Shelf Brackets

The rustic shelf brackets are easy to assemble. Below you will find a short step-by-step plan:

• Decide where to mount the shelf brackets
• Mark the mounting holes by marking them with a pencil.
• Are you mounting the shelf brackets on a hardwood wall? Then pre-drill the holes with a 2 mm hardwood drill, about 30 mm deep.
• Are you mounting the shelf support on a stone or concrete wall? Then use our nylon plugs 6 x 30 mm. Pre-drill the holes for the plugs with a concrete drill  6 mm in the stone or concrete, 40 mm deep.
• Screw on the shelf brackets. 
• Place the shelf on the shelf brackets and screw them into place.

Handicraft Tip: Use a spirit level when mounting the shelf supports to ensure that the shelf supports hang straight. You will find these in the measuring tools category.
