Ground Screw U-Bracket Adjustable - Per piece

This U-bracket is adjustable, which means you can the width yourself. The minimum width is 77 mm, and the maximum 110 mm. Both sides contain 5 mounting holes, allowing for a solid attachment of a wooden post. To connect the U-bracket to the ground screw, you will need an adaptor. You can find this adaptor in the category ground screws. Secure the U-bracket to the adaptor with the supplied fasteners.

Galvanised U-bracket

This U-bracket is made of Galvanised steel, which is incredibly strong. The bracket is sometimes called a flex bracket, because you can adjust the width. When you have installed the bracket on the adaptor and tightened the bolt, you cannot adjust the bracket anymore. If you do still need to change the size, simply loosen the bolt a little. The best way to go about this is to place the wooden post in the bracket, and to make sure the bracket is flush with the post. You can then secure the post to the U-bracket with, for example, short wafer head screws 8 x 40 mm or coach screws M10 x 40 mm. Both are excellent fastener, it just depends on what your preference is. The mounting holes have a diameter of 11 mm.
