Wovar's security shields assure you of an optimally secured front door. This Set also features core pull protection and has a SKG*** CE Certificate. The hardware is therefore heavily burglar-resistant and resistant to the most modern techniques in the burglary world. The shields with handles are suitable for doors with a thickness between 38 and 58 mm. In addition, the projection size of a profile cylinder for this set is minimum 11 and maximum 14.5 mm. All fasteners are included and we ll provide you with useful assembly instructions and a Drilling jig so that you get the screw holes in the perfect place.

To make assembly as easy as possible, you will be supplied with all the necessary fasteners, which you can install using the assembly instructions. Below you can see all the parts of this door hardware set:

The fixing set also includes the necessary allen keys to fix the handles, among other things. For all exact dimensions of this door fitting set, please refer to image 2 of this product. This shows, among other things, that the distance from the centre of the door handle to the centre of the cylinder hole is 55 mm. Because of this we speak of a PZ 55, please note that you always also purchase security locks with this PZ55 size. Since everything should have a CE Certificate on your front door, our cylinder locks with CE Certificate are definitely recommended.

Security hardware replacement

Replace your old security hardware easily with this new set. This is because the shields have the advantage of covering previous mounting holes in your door. This ensures a neat finish. Securing the shields to your door requires drilling into your door to allow the M6 bolts provided to pass through your door. The bolts go through the inner shields into your door, after which you fix them into the outer shield. The outer shield has 10 mm thick lugs, in which the bolts engage. The shields are firmly attached to each other with a total of 3 bolts. Drill through your door on the inside with a 6 mm hardwood drill bit and on the outside with an 11 mm hardwood drill bit, so that the lugs fit in. Only top quality hardwood drill bits are suitable for this; you can easily order these along from our range of hardwood drill bits, so that you can start installing them straight away.
