These handsome narrow escutcheons belong to the security hardware category, as they are labelled with a SKG*** CE Certificate and come with core pull protection. The whole is made of Aluminium, making it lightweight but still very strong. The Matt Black colour provides an updated and neat look. In addition, this Black finish is very hard-wearing and therefore stays beautiful for a long time. The PZ size is 92 mm, which indicates the centre-to-centre distance between the handle hole and the keyhole. The PC must match the PZ size of your door lock. You will receive all fasteners and useful assembly instructions with the set. 

Security hardware with SKG CE Certificate

The narrow escutcheons can be secured to your door using the M6 bolts provided. Drill your door using the Drilling jig, which is also included in the package. This ensures that you drill the holes in the right place. Use a 6 mm thick hardwood drill bit for the M6 bolts. The outer shield has lugs of 10 mm, into which the bolts will screw. So pre-drill the outside with a thicker 11 mm hardwood drill bit. You can order the hardwood drill bits directly and easily with the handle from our range of hardwood drill bits. The handles are secured with the door handle pin and with Allen screws. The matching allen key is also included in the set. For all sizes of the shields and the handles, please refer to image 2.
