Security hardware narrow escutcheon handle/handle PC92 - Per Set

These security shields are extra narrow, which is why they are also called narrow shields. We often see narrow shields used on French doors and front doors with a lot of Glass. As a result, the wooden frame is narrower than usual, making the narrow shields perfect. The narrow shield certainly does not make this set less strong, as the door hardware has an SKG 3-star CE Certificate and they are fitted with core pull protection. This prevents the possibility of drilling and pulling out the cylinder core. These are therefore heavy burglary-resistant fittings. The PZ dimension is 92 mm, this is the distance between the heart of the handle hole and the heart of the cylinder hole. Please note that the lock of your door should have the same PZ-size. The set is supplied including all fasteners.

Installing narrow escutcheons

You install the narrow shields easily with the supplied mounting material and the comprehensive assembly instructions. With the useful Drilling jig you can drill your door in exactly the right places. Drilling in is necessary because you secure the hardware with the M6 bolts provided. These go through your door and secure both shields together. We recommend drilling through your door with a 6 mm and an 11 mm hardwood drill bits. This is because the lugs of the outer shield are 10 mm wide and therefore require a wider hardwood drill bit.
