You will also need screws to fix the shelf. The length of these screws depends on the thickness of your chosen plank, but for most planks, you will need our full-thread screws galvanized 3.5 x 12 mm or 4 x 16 mm in combination with a washer M4 you can use most planks from the feet.

Mounting the strong Aluminium Shelf Bracket

The aluminium shelf brackets are easy to assemble. Below you will find a short step-by-step plan:

• Decide where to mount the shelf brackets
• Mark the mounting holes by marking them with a pencil.
• Are you mounting the shelf brackets on a hardwood wall? Then pre-drill the holes with a 2 mm hardwood drill, about 30 mm deep.
• Are you mounting the shelf support on a stone or concrete wall? Then use our nylon plugs 6 x 30 mm. Pre-drill the holes for the plugs with a concrete drill  6 mm in the stone or concrete, 40 mm deep.
• Screw on the shelf brackets. 
• Place the shelf on the shelf brackets and screw them into place.

Avoid crooked shelves: Use a spirit level when mounting the shelf supports to ensure that the shelf brackets hang straight. You will find these in the measuring tools category.
