Soft-Close for drawer runners - Per Set

Soft-close element for drawer slides

This set of soft-close elements are 215 x 10 x 20 mm (lxwxh) and are sufficient to soft-closing one drawer. In addition, this soft-closing is universally applicable to all lengths of drawer slides. 

This soft-closing for drawer slides consists of four parts: two soft-closing elements and two mounting plates. These are excluding fasteners. The screw holes have a diameter of 4.2 mm. We therefore recommend using our chipboard screws Galvanised 4.2 x 16 mm to install this soft-closing.

Are you installing the soft-closing elements to a drawer or cabinet made of Hardwood? Then we recommend pre-drilling the holes for a while. Use our 2 mm hardwood drill bits for this. 

Softclosing Securing to drawer slides

The mounting of these Universal soft-closing elements is quite easy. In the example below, we use the 250 mm drawer slides. According to the table in Figure 5 is C 192 mm and B 108 mm. 

For mounting on the cabinet side, place the soft-close element 64 mm above the drawer rail. This 64 mm is measured from the centre of the screw hole of the loader rail to the centre of the hole of the soft-close element. 

The depth of the soft-close element is then determined by calculating C + 37 mm. In this case it is 37 + 192 mm and is a total of 229 mm. The centre of the rear hole of the soft-close element is thus 229 mm deep and 64 mm high (measured from the centre of the drawer runners).

To secure the mounting plate to the drawer, place the mounting plate 38 mm above the drawer runners. This 38 mm is measured from the centre of the drawer runners' screw hole to the centre of the bottom hole of the mounting plate. 

The depth of the mounting plate is then determined by B. In this case, it is 108 mm. This 108 mm is measured from the inside of your drawer to the centre of the screw holes of the mounting plate.

Finally, you can still adjust the height of the mounting plate to your own preference.
