Outdoor Stainless Steel 410 Screws with Torx head

The Wovar Stainless Steel 410 garden screws are equipped with a Torx drive. Torx drive (TX) is recommended by professional users. The 4 mm thick garden screws are driven with TX20 bits and the 5 mm thick screws with TX25 bits. The 5 mm thickness is often used for fencing and is therefore also called fence screws.

In addition, the Wovar garden screw is extra hardened. This is done by means of special heat treatment. During the heat treatment, the screws are first extremely heated, and then rapidly cooled. This makes breaking the screw virtually impossible. The handy screws have a flat countersunk head. This ensures that the fence screw sinks better into the wood.

The Wovar Torx Stainless Steel 410 garden screws can be used with almost all types of wood. This fence panel screw is also called chipboard screw, handy screw, or universal screw, for good reason. The razor-sharp point cuts effortlessly through sheet material or wooden beams. Pre-drilling in softwoods is therefore unnecessary. Pre-drilling is recommended for hardwood. This is easy with our Wovar hardwood drills. Use a 3 mm hardwood drill bit for 4 mm thick garden screws and a 3.5 mm thick hardwood drill bit for 5 mm thick garden screws. The Type 17 Auger cutting tip ensures the least possible load on your power tool. This allows more screws to be mounted per battery. For hardwoods such as oak, Garapa, Kapur and Red Cedar hardwoods, always choose our Hardwood Screws with Anti Rust Coating. These are specially protected against extreme Tannic acids.

What Head do the Wovar Outdoor Screws have?

Wovar Stainless Steel 410 Garden Screws have a countersunk head with milling ribs on the underside. These milling ribs ensure that the head is pulled even more powerfully into the wood, so that the screw does a better job sinking into the wood, which results in an amazing look.

The rust- and heat-resistant Stainless Steel 410 grade can be used in any environment. Garden screws of this class are even suitable for use in the most extreme climate conditions.
