The 90 mm Stainless Steel Door Stop

This door stopper is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 50 mm and a total height of 90 mm. The bumper is 12 mm high and has a diameter of 17 mm. Due to the corrosion-resistant properties of stainless steel, this doorstop is also suitable for outdoor use.

This door stopper is supplied including mounting material. This consists of four screws 4 x 35 mm and corresponding plugs. You only need the plugs if you are going to mount the doorstop on a stone wall. In addition, you will not see any of the screws through the rosette. This is also known as invisible mounting. 

Mounting the Stainless Steel Door Stopper on a Wooden Wall

When you attach the stainless steel door stopper with invisible mounting to a wooden wall, you only need the screws and not the plugs.

If your wall is made of hardwood, it is wise to pre-drill the holes. You can use our 2 mm hardwood drill bit for this. It prevents the wood from splitting and you can easily remove the screws. Please check out our line of hardwood drills for all your needs.

Step 1:  Determine the position of the door stop
Step 2:  Mark the mounting holes with a pencil
Step 3:  Predrill the holes lightly, about 15 mm deep
Step 4:  Screw the door stopper into place
Step 5:  Place the rosette on the doorstop

Attaching the Stainless Steel Door Stopper to a Stone Wall

When mounting the stainless steel doorstop on a stone wall, use both the screws and the supplied nylon plugs. Additionally, you also need a 6 mm concrete drill, which you will find with our quality concrete drills.

Step 1:  Determine the position of the door stop
Step 2:  Mark the mounting holes with a pencil
Step 3:  Pre-drill the holes, approximately 40 mm deep
Step 4:  Press the plugs into the pre-drilled screw holes
Step 5:  Screw the door stopper in place
Step 6:  Place the rosette on the doorstop
