Strike plates Black for Mortice Latches Rounded - Per Piece
These beautiful strike plates finished with a top quality black coating are a perfect addition to your mortise locks with black front plate. We supply such mortise locks with standard Galvanised strike plates, but this will of course contrast with the rest of your hardware in black. Our Black strike plates are the perfect solution. These rounded versions are especially suitable for our router jigs. Using a router jig gives you a very tight finish.
.Fitting strike plates Black
When applying the Wovar strike plates Black to your frame, first mill away the Surface area of the strike plate. Keep as depth the thickness of the strike plates in order to fit nicely into the frame. Our Black Galvanised screws ensure a good fastening. For matching screws, see the corresponding articles. Use a wood chisel to make a 1 to 1.5 cm recess in the frame where the bolt enters the frame. Then carefully tap the tongue around the frame with a Plastic hammer without damaging the Powdercoating of the strike plates.
Bought black strike plates rounded for mortice latches
.Black strike plates can be bought at the best price from Wovar, do you need several strike plates? Then we advise you to use router jigs for a gigantic time saving.
.We pay great attention to the quality of the Powdercoating. Despite the fact that we choose the best Quality, it is possible that the latch bolt of your mortise lock will scratch the Black coating over time. This is unfortunately unavoidable as there is a steel-to-steel contact which can cause wear and tear in the long run.
