Loose strike plates suitable for mortice locks are perfect for use on toilet and Bathroom doors as well as Exterior doors and indoor garage doors and Closet doors. The strike plates are suitable for locks with sizes PC55 and WC63. When using the strike plate for our security locks, we recommend combining the strike plate with a strike box. Striking plates for router jigs

The Rounded shape of this strike plate make this a very Popular product, as the strike plate can be perfectly combined with our router jigs. By using the right router jigs, installing the strike plates is a piece of cake. After milling, you only need to cut the recesses where the day and night locks fall into the frame. You do this a few millimetres deeper than the bolts protrude from the mortise lock. Next, install the strike plates in the rebate you have just made and secure them with our thin 3 x 25 mm screws, which you will find in the corresponding articles for easy addition to your order. You then tap the protruding one around the frame with a Plastic hammer so that your window frame is well protected against the latch bolt of the mortise lock.
