You choose the correct length of carriage bolts by measuring the thickness of the door and adding 15 mm. The most commonly used carriage bolts for this are our stainless steel carriage bolts M8x45mm. When using carriage bolts, it is necessary to pre-drill with our hardwood drill 9mm. This ensures that the hole is just slightly larger than the thickness of the carriage bolts. This way you can smoothly pull the carriage bolts through the drill hole.
