T-hinges
Wovar supplies high-quality T-hinges made of yellow galvanised steel, black powder-coated steel, and stainless steel, in various sizes. In addition to the different types of material, a distinction is made between light and heavy versions. The difference is in the thickness of the T-hinge. T-hinges with a thickness of 2mm are considered light versions. Heavy-duty T-hinges are 4 mm thick. T-hinges are easy to assemble because they do not consist of multiple separate pieces. As a result, you do not have to order a separate hinge or hinge hook, unlike the case with a strap hinge. T-hinges are usually used for light applications, such as making garden cabinets, light doors such as closet doors, or the lid of a box. Besides these T-hinges, we also supply cranked hinges, offset hinges, flat hinges, and even black hinges. These types of hinges are more suitable for heavy-duty applications such as gates and fences.
The Wovar T-hinges have handy mounting holes. This ensures that you can assemble the T-hinges easily and quickly. Please note: no fasteners are supplied with our T-hinges. Do not forget to order these separately. For each product, it is indicated with which screws or bolts you can best attach the T-hinge.
