Taupe Plastic Garden Edging 15 cm high - 10 Meter Roll
Using garden edging creates a tidy and sleek look for your garden by, for example, separating the lawn from a flowerbed. This taupe-coloured border is very popular, because it is a soft colour that does not attract attention. Note: as you can see in the pictures, the colour appears lighter when it is outside. The garden edging is 15 cm high, 10 m long, and is made of recycled plastic. You can secure the border with anchor pegs, which are available in the same colour.
Using plastic garden edging
You can use plastic garden edging for curved edges, as well as straight ones. Placing garden edging in the ground is fairly simple. Below you will find a short guide.
- Dig a small trench in the ground with a spade or garden trowel. Make sure it is deep enough for the garden edging. We recommend a depth between 10 and 15 cm.
- Place the garden edging in the trench. Fill up the trench with sand, soil, gravel, or another material. Press it tightly together with your feet, or with a roller, hammer, or piece of wood.
- If you want the garden edging deeper in the ground, use a piece of wood and a rubber hammer. Place the wood on the garden edging and hit it with the hammer. Note: do not hit too hard nor directly on the garden edging, as this risks damaging the material.
- To secure the border, use ground anchor pegs. The pegs are also available in taupe. Place pegs every 50 cm and push them into the ground to anchor the garden edging. Just as with the garden edging, you can use a rubber hammer to do this.
Extending plastic garden edging
Extending the plastic garden edging is a task you can easily do yourself. Cut off 10 cm to use as a connector piece. Position the piece of border edging next to the seam where the two large pieces of garden edging meet, and fasten it with stainless steel garden screws.
