Are you in need of high-quality locks for your windows? Wovar offers various types and colours of window handles and locks. Our products are available in grey, white, stainless steel and black. All of our window handles are cockspur handles, recognisable by the spur on the side. Our cockspur handles allow you to open your window for ventilation securely by locking the spur into the groove on the strike plate. This allows fresh air to come in while keeping the window anchored to the window sill.
Our selection of window handles and lock ranges from window handles with lock to handles with push button to regular window handles to locks without handles. Naturally, our handles are available in a right handed and left handed version and come with a strike plate with groove.
The window handles are suitable for windows of all sizes. The handles are mostly used for closing awning windows and for inward and outward opening casement windows. Scroll down for more information on which handle works best for your windows.
When choosing the right window handle, it is important to know what kind of window you have. Do you have an inward or outward opening window? We use the following rules:
- Right handed window handles: outward opening left and inward opening right windows.
- Left handed window handles: outward opening right and inward opening left windows.
For awning windows it is a lot clearer as you will need both types.
Window handles with lock
Our range of window handles consists of handles with lock, handles with push button, and regular handles. A window handle with lock contains a lock, creating the possibility of locking the handle. When the handle is locked, it is not possible to turn the handle. The window handles with lock always include two keys.
SKG certified locks
The window locks with SKG certification have been tested for resistance against burglars and have received an SKG1 certification. This indicates that the lock can withstand a simple burglary attempt for at least 3 minutes. Added to that, it is possible to lock the handle in the ventilation position. This way, you can enjoy fresh air safely.
Window handle with push button
The push button handles can only be used when pushing down the button. This prevents burglars from opening your window from the outside by 'fishing' for the handle and pulling it open. On top of that, it prevents children and animals from easily or accidentaly opening the window.

- Choose a regular window handle for closing your windows and extra protection for your doors.
- Choose a window handle with push button for closing your windows and preventing children and animals from opening the window.
- Choose a window handle with lock for maximum security. Close and lock your windows, add protection to your doors, and prevent children and animals from opening the windows.
