Window Stay with Pin 300 mm Stainless Steel- Per piece

Installing window stays

You can install this window stay with 3.5 x 30 mm screws. These are not included, so do not forget to add them to your order. The window stay can only be installed on frames with a minimum width of 35 mm. Do you have a hardwood frame? Pre-drill the holes with a 2 mm hardwood drill bit.

1. Place the window stay against the window. The closer it is to the hinges, the further you will be able to open your window.
2. Mark where the screws will have to go and pre-drill the holes.
3. Fix the window stay to the window.
4. Close the window and position the stay pin on the frame in the middle of the oval gap in the window stay.
5. Check whether the window opens, while keeping the stay pin in the same spot.
6. Mark where the screws will have to go and pre-drill the holes.
7. Fix the stay pin to the frame.
