This specific wood filler is known for quick drying and the fact that it can be painted over with any paint, both white spirit and water-based. Can be used both indoors and outdoors. For Exterior application, however, we recommend always finishing with stain, paint or lacquer. This can be done after 10 hours drying, as the wood needs to be tempered properly first. Frencken wood filler colours

Frencken's Wood filler is available in different colours. You can find the most popular colours in our webshop, both in tube and can form. Right now you are looking at the tube variant in the colour mid Oak. As the name suggests, this is an Oak colour that is very much in the middle in terms of darkness. This colour is Popular on Oak wood, but also on other woods. The trick is to use a kneadable wood that is as close as possible to the wood around it in terms of colour. You can then finish with a (transparent) Stain, Oil, Lacquer or paint to get a nice whole. This colour is also often used on darker floors.

Using Frencken wood filler middle Oak

Using Frencken's kneadable Wood filler involves few special steps. However, it is important to first ensure that the surface material is clean. It should be dry, free of grease and also free of Fabric and dirt. Then it is a matter of applying the Wood filler with a spatula or putty knife. Allow to dry and, if necessary, apply another coat for larger surfaces that need filling. Let it dry for 10 hours before finishing with lacquer or paint. The colour may change during drying.
