The set screws are extremely strong due to the galvanised steel. The sharp screw thread ensures strong anchoring in the wood. As a result, the adjusted distance is maintained exactly.

Wovar's spacer screws have a special sliding coating. Pre-drilling in softwood is not necessary. Pre-drilling is recommended for hardwood. Use our handy 3.5 mm hardwood drill for this. The special sliding coating ensures less screw-in resistance and allows you to mount more adjusting screws per battery charge.

The countersunk head has a diameter of 12 mm. As a result, this adjusting screw has an enormous thread surface. Under the flat head are milling ribs. These ensure better countersinking in the wood. You screw the set screws into wood with a Torx 30 bit. The TX30 bits from Wovar have a perfect fit on this spacer screw. Using the wrong bit can damage the zinc coating. This shortens the life of the screws.
